WSOP Online and BetMGM began sharing its players yesterday after Pennsylvania became the sixth state to join the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA). That leaves PokerStars and BetRivers as the sites that are still fencing in their players in the Keystone State.

UPDATE: Rush Street Interactive, the company that runs BetRivers Poker, announced it will soon begin sharing player liquidity. A date fore the move has not been released.

WSOP finally all connected

WSOP Online finally has all their players in the United States under one virtual roof. That means players who are physically in Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan and now Pennsylvania will all now play against each other.

“The addition of the Pennsylvania player pool to WSOP Online comes at the perfect time, and we’re ready to give avid poker players in The Keystone State the opportunity to raise the stakes on their poker play,” Danielle Barille, Vice President of Online Poker at Caesars Entertainment, said in a press release.

The site will hold a $100 buy-in $200,000 guaranteed Sunday Celebration Mystery Bounty tournament on May 4, at 5 p.m. EST.

The player merger came with the full schedule release of the WSOP’s online bracelet events. Starting on May 31, and running until July 15, bracelet events pretty much take place every Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Throughout the schedule are several WSOP Seat scrambles, $215 buy-in events that guarantee 25 WSOP Main Event seats will be won. Several of the events have guarantees of $1 million, with the $1,000 Mystery Bounty Championship on July 6, carrying a $1.5 million promise.

BETMGM celebrates with freeroll

BetMGM Poker also hooked its players in Pennsylvania up with those in Michigan and New Jersey.

“Pennsylvania represents the largest state to join the shared player pool and turbocharges our poker platform,” said Angus Nisbet, BetMGM Vice President of Gaming in a press release. “This expanded player pool will allow us to deliver more games and bigger tournaments to our players. BetMGM Poker is ready to celebrate the growth of our shared liquidity network throughout the spring and summer in a variety of ways.”

The celebration starts tonight (April 29) with a free entry for everyone into the daily “C-note” tourney and its $35,000 guaranteed freeroll that normal costs $100. The winner of this event also gets a $5,000 BetMGM Poker Championship package as a bonus. The series will take place at the ARIA June 30 to July 4. The package includes a $3,500 entry to the headliner and five nights in Las Vegas.

The site is also holding the BetMGM May Millions, which will be the biggest weekend series in the history of BetMGM Poker.

The $1 million guaranteed series runs May 8-11, and features 18 total events, including a $2,500 Super High Roller and a $1,000 Championship with a $400,000 promise, as well as a BetMGM Poker Championship freeroll event. Click here for more information.

Look for PokerStars to join the two sites in staring liquidity soon. Like BetMGM Poker, it currently doesn’t operate in Nevada, but will share players between Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Michigan.

The other two members of MSIGA, Delaware and West Virginia, currently do not have online poker sites operating in them despite a strong online gambling and casino industry.
